ALBANY — An Albany home caught on fire around 4:20 a.m. on Wednesday. The home is located on the 100 block of Thornton Drive.

Police interviewed witness, Justin Wright who said he was walking down the street with his cousin when they spotted the house on fire.

Wright’s cousin knocked down the front door and to make sure no one was inside. The two men called 911 and the fire was put out fast.

The Albany Fire Department called an arson investigator to the scene because the house has no power and they believe it could be arson.
