TIFTON — Jeremiah Walker and his twin brother Nehemiah Walker were confirmed dead this morning after a fire broke out in their home on the 600 block of Timmons Drive in Tifton, around 1:30 a.m. The victims were 12-years-old.

Four people were in the home at the time of the fire. The twin’s mother, 44-year-old Tangela Walker and 15-year-old sister Florissa escaped the home.

Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens’ is investigating the scene for the cause of the fire. The home did not have fire detectors.
