TIFTON – A former Tift County High School principal will serve ten years of probation after pleading guilty to stealing school funds.

Dr. Chad Stone admitted in court to taking about twenty thousand dollars through theft by deception and unauthorized use of a financial transaction card. The judge ordered restitution and cited Stone’s betrayal of trust, noting his clean record in sparing him prison time.
