VALDOSTA – The Valdosta Police Department arrests a Valdosta man with warrants from multiple counties for possession of narcotics.

ARRESTED: Isaac Burdon, African American male, 30 years of age, Valdosta resident
On August 28, 2024, at approximately 3:00 pm., detectives with the Valdosta Police Department Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at an apartment in the 600 block of Vallotton Drive. Detectives located the resident, Isaac Burdon, 30 years-of-age, inside the apartment. During the search, detectives seized over 15 grams of suspected Alpha-PVP, 21 individual baggies of Alpha-PVP packaged for sales, over 30 grams of marijuana, tools indicative of narcotics sales, and a firearm, which had been reported stolen through Miami.
Burdon was also found to have numerous active arrest warrants from Lanier County, Grady County, and Thomas County.
Burdon was transported to Lowndes County Jail. He is facing charges of:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 controlled substance with intent to distribute-felony;
- Possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute-felony;
- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon-felony;
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony; and
- Possession of drug related items-misdemeanor.
“This was a great job by our Narcotics Unit, who immediately upon receiving information that narcotics were in the apartment, obtained a search warrant and executed it quickly. Their work resulted in a dangerous person, as well as dangerous narcotics, being removed from our community.” Said Chief Leslie Manahan.
