road sign work VALDOSTA, GA – The Georgia Department of Transportation is asking Valdosta residents for their input concerning the I-75 interchanges at exits 22 and 29. The GDOT held an open house in 2006 concerning the exits and the plans for the the area. Most residents accepted the changes to exit 22, but they were concerned with construction for exit 29. The GDOT has designed new plans for exit 29 and the construction will effect less businesses. for information about the project contact Aghdis Ghazi at (912) 271-7027 or aghazi@dot.ga.gov. Project plans will be available at the District Office located at 710 West 2nd Street in Tifton.
