LEESBURG, Ga. — The officers of Leesburg received a call of a potential bomb threat at the Lee County High School campus on Wednesday. According to WALB, 18-year-old Kristjan Mason was arrested less than 25 minutes later. No bomb was found.

Thanks to the help of school resource officers, the tracking, finding and arresting of the student was a smooth process. Lieutenant Anthony tells WALB that they will continue their local emergency centers to help ensure the safety of the community.
