VALDOSTA – Harper Hall, an eighth grader at Valdosta Early College Academy, was named the champion of the Regional 9 Spelling Bee in Bainbridge.

Hall advanced to the regional spelling bee after taking first place at Valdosta’s spelling bee earlier this month.

She will now advance to the state spelling bee in Plains on March 16.
