ATLANTA, GA – On Friday, the Georgia House backed an attempt to dissolve the Glynn County Police Department after its handling of the Ahmaud Arbery case. This, according to a report on AJC.

The House voted 152-3 to allow voters to decide to eliminate their county police departments, which would move authority to the county sheriff’s offices.

The legislation now moves to the Georgia state Senate for further consideration.
