DEKALB COUNTY – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating a shooting that occurred after GSP attempted to conduct a traffic stop.

On Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 9:17 am, Georgia State Patrol (GSP) Troopers attempted to stop a Jeep Grand Cherokee on McAffee Road near Columbia Drive, in DeKalb County.  The pursuit ended with a crash involving the Jeep Grand Cherokee and a GSP patrol car with shots fired.
