Southern Georgia Regional Commission-LogoVALDOSTA, GA – The Southern Georgia Regional Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan was developed to identify and determine methods for transforming Southern Georgia into a bicycle and pedestrian friendly region through the development of a safe and convenient network of paths, trails and lanes for walkers, runners, and bicyclists of all types. After nearly 10 years the Southern Georgia Regional Commission (SGRC) is initiating an update of the plan, and is requesting your input and assistance. Please consider attending one of the following public input opportunities for this important process.

OPEN HOUSE on January 28, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Southern Georgia Regional Commission office in Valdosta, GA at 327 West Savannah Avenue.

OPEN HOUSE on January 30, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Southern Georgia Regional Commission office in Waycross, GA at 1725 South Georgia Parkway, West.

The Southern Georgia Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan and other transportation related resources are available for review on our website at www.sgrc.us/Transportation. Also on the website is a short survey regarding current conditions and future needs for bicycle and pedestrian facilities in your community.
