Hahira, GA- Investigators with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a man whom they say broke into a Hall Road home Wednesday afternoon.

The homeowners came back to the house around 2pm and noticed the front door unlocked. As the couple walked through the house, a man ran out the back door into some nearby woods.

The man, described as a 6’1 white male with dark hair, was spotted by numerous people in the Brookridge Road area, but was able to avoid capture. K-9 units and officers searched for the man for nearly 4 hours to no avail.
