FHP: Drunk Man Responsible For 3 Accidents In 37-Mile Stretch

FHPTroopervehicle editLive Oak, FL- A Putnam County man faces a long list of charges after a night of automotive carnage on I-75 Saturday morning. 32-year old Adam Harris’ morning started when he allegedly hit a vehicle near MM 413 in Columbia County and kept driving north on the interstate.

Harris was apparently involved in another crash before his final one of the morning, some 37 miles away from the first incident in Hamilton County. Harris’ 2003 Ford F-150 struck another vehicle, forcing him onto the shoulder near MM 450. He ran through a perimeter fence and struck a tree, at which point the 32-year old attempted to run from the scene.

He was located around 10:30am and finally taken into custody. He is charged with 2 counts of DUI with injuries, 2 counts of Hit and run with injuries, DUI, DUI property damage, and careless driving.

No major/severe injures were reported in any of the wrecks.
