SYLVESTER — A child reported unresponsive by her mother has died.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation detectives have confirmed a 2-year old child, Raelynn Huff, was reported unresponsive by her mother as not breathing.  The death is being investigated.

Paramedics responded to the call Monday afternoon at a house on Hwy 112 in Sylvester.  The child’s mother, Jamie Jacobs, told authorities she found Huff dead in her room.  The GBI has scheduled an autopsy.

No charges have yet been filed regarding this case at the time of this report.
