LAKE PARK — Grassy Pond Recreation Area in Lake Park will host a free End of Summer Party featuring family activities on Aug. 1.

Families are invited to celebrate the end of summer with a free community event at Grassy Pond Recreation Area on Saturday, Aug. 1. The End of Summer Party will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Grassy Pond Recreation Area, 5360 Grassy Pond Road in Lake Park. Admission to the park will be free for the event. Activities will include bounce houses, a water slide, complimentary kayak and pedal boat rentals, fishing, and access to nearly four miles of walking trails. Food will also be available for purchase. The event is open to the public and is designed to give families an opportunity to enjoy one last weekend of summer with a variety of outdoor activities.
