BAINBRIDGE — A man has been charged in the injury of a 6-month old baby in Bainbridge.

D’Marco Murphy, 21 of Bainbridge, was charged by authorities of aggravated assault related to injures his 6-month old baby received last week.

Reports from WALB state Bainbridge Public Safety Investigators as claiming the Murphy baby’s injuries were consistent with Shaken Baby Syndrome.

The baby had been taken to the hospital for the injuries, which law enforcement labeled as “serious”.

The incident was reported to have occurred at Murphy’s home.  Since his arrest he has reportedly bonded out of jail.
