ATLANTA — Hundreds of college administrators, teachers and other staff filled the Promise Center on Wednesday morning to learn about the new Move on When Ready program.

The MOWR program comes from recently passed legislation — Senate Bill 132 — which is meant to simplify and expand Georgia’s dual enrollment opportunities for high school students across the state.

Technical College System of Georgia Commissioner Gretchen Corbin was also in attendance to say a few words in support MOWR’s launch, which will go into affect July 1.

“Move On When Ready is one of the most important things going on within the Technical College System of Georgia,” Corbin said.
