WASHINGTON — US Senator David Perdue, Republican from Georgia, met with the press relating to the military budget.  He had some positive comments concerning the importance of the A-10 (as stationed at Moody AFB) and their role in supporting our military objectives.  The A-10 ground support aircraft provides close cover for soldiers in battle as well as being able to attack heavy armor effectively.
