SAVANNAH — A man was indicted on two vehicular homicide counts and related charges in connection with a fatal wreck in Port Wentworth that killed two women.

The Savannah Morning News is reporting, according to the Chatham County grand jury, that Torey Vashon Pendleton, 40 of Rincon, caused the deaths of Margaret Woodstock and Catherin Tuten on January 18th while driving under the influence.

Tuten, 76 of Estill, SC, and Margaret Woodstock died after being injured in a wreck on Georgia Highway 21.

Port Wentworth police initially handled the wreck, then called in the Georgia State Patrol investigators to handle the case.

Initial reports said a vehicle rear-ended two others.

The indictment charges vehicular homicide while driving with a alcohol concentration of more than .08 grams and while under the influence while under the influence of alcohol to the extent it was less safe to drive.

In addition to the homicide charges, the indictment included driving under the influence and following two closely.
