MILLEN – The small east Georgia town of Millen was struck by tragedy when a young boy was killed in a mobile home fire.

The fire, which occurred early Sunday morning, is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall’s office.

A spokesman from the Fire Marshall’s Office stated that 14-year old Joshua Christopher Trent Buckley was found dead in a bedroom of the mobile home in the town south of Augusta.  Reports stated that Buckley was home alone when the fire occurred.

Though the blaze is being investigated, a space heater is suspected of causing the fire.  It was found in the boy’s bedroom.
