Georgia’s new United States Senator David Perdue says he got to work right away.

“The People expect that”, Perdue told Georgia News Network’s John Clark, “I heard it over and over…out in the state of Georgia during this campaign season that they’re frustrated with the ineffectiveness up here”.

Within 2 days of taking office Perdue co-sponsored bills on Congressional term limits and approval of the Keystone XL Pipeline.

Senator Perdue says he plans to stay in touch with Georgians and already has staff in Georgia working in temporary offices with plans to open permanent offices as soon as possible.
