Georgia Capitol Peach State Logo ATLANTA, GA (AP) – Gov. Nathan Deal will propose that the state establish a separate scholarship within the HOPE grant program to provide full tuition to technical college students with a 3.5 grade point average.

Deal also wants $10 million in state funds for low-interest loans to be available for technical college students. He also hopes that $3.6 million in state funds will be set aside to help pay for books and school supplies for students dual enrolled in high school and technical college.

The HOPE program is funded through lottery revenue.
