VALDOSTA, GA – On Thursday, Valdosta Mayor Scott James Matheson addressed citizens via an online video post regarding the timeline and safety measure of businesses opening up.

Starting Friday, several businesses that were previously ordered shut will be able to re-open, including gyms, salons, bowling alleys and much more. Despite the openings, the Mayor says that “It’s still up to you. Your timeline, when you feel safe, when you feel ready and prepared as well.”
