LAKE PARK, Ga. – On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, Malachi, 16, jumped to his death in Lake Park around 11 p.m.

His suicide was unexpected and his family was unprepared to bury their child.

On the family’s GoFundMe page, it reads:

Malachi left behind his single mother and 2 younger brothers. As a single mother, with her own health issues (which prevents her from working), she is definitely NOT prepared for this unexpected heartbreaking expense. Please, if you can, please donate whatever you can, so this child can be laid to rest how his family sees fit. Also, asking for prayers for this family during this extremely difficult time and if you would, please share this. Thank you
