LOWNDES Co. – No major changes were made the Lowndes County Service Delivery Strategy following a special called meeting Tuesday afternoon.

The call is for the existing agreement to be renewed; requiring the approval of Valdosta officials and two other municipalities. The agreement must be renewed every 10 years.

According to reports, the county used the same language from the 2008 agreement to the regret of Valdosta officials, who now say that the matter may have to go before the courts.
