VALDOSTA – Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will open a Valdosta headquarters ahead of Georgia’s March 1 primary.

The Valdosta/Greater South Georgia Trump Headquarters will hold its grand opening Saturday, Feb. 6 at 11 a.m. at 3380 North Valdosta Rd.

“We’re getting enthusiastic support from voters all across Georgia and are excited to be bringing the Trump campaign to South Georgia,” said State Director Brandon Phillips.

Barbara Schmader, Lowndes County Trump manager, will officiate the event, which is free and open to the public.

A January poll showed Trump had a 10-point lead over other Republican candidates among Georgians likely to vote in the March 1 Super Tuesday primary.
