VALDOSTA — A kitchen fire has damage a Valdosta restaurant.
Late Monday, the Valdosta Fire Department was called to fight what appeared to be a kitchen fire at the Beijing Restaurant on Norman Drive. Firefighters had the fire under control in a matter of minutes.
Reports stated that the damage, noted as major in one report, was caused by a cooking incident. Estimates of the damage were in the range of $15,000.
There were no injuries and owners hope to reopen again soon.
