THOMASVILLE — Thomas County Sheriff’s Office deputies reported that a man was killed in an industrial accident at the AmeriGas facility on Commercial Drive.

The man was crushed by propane tanks while trying to load them onto a truck.

The tanks were estimated to weigh over 1,000 pounds. The man was killed instantly.
