VALDOSTA — Reports have surfaced that a Valdosta Police Officer has been arrested and facing multiple charges related to evidence tampering, among other charges.

WCTV is reporting that Trey Kenneth Gandy is being held at the Lowndes County Jail on charges of Tampering with Evidence, Theft by Taking, and Violation of the Oath of a Public Officer.

VPD Chief Brian Childress will host a Press Conference Friday morning to provide details.  Valdosta Today will have an updated report when information is available.
