Hahira Middle School Attends 2014 GA FBLA Region 2 Leadership Conference & Award Ceremony

Hahira Middle FBLAHAHIRA, GA – Congratulations to Hahira Middle School FBLA students who attended Georgia FBLA-ML Region II Awards Ceremony in Ware County High School, GA, on January 16. The student’s competed with twenty-one middle schools in the Region II area.

Michele Dowdy placed 2nd place in Computer Concepts and 1st place  in Marketing Concepts. Griffin Ruane placed 5th place Career Exploration and 3rd in Internet Concepts.They both  are eligible to participate in the State Leadership Conference being held in Perry, Ga., on February 25, 2014.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is a national organization for all middle school students participating in business and technology classes.  Continuing participation in FBLA in high school & college is available through Phi Beta Lambda (PBL).  Club activities provide learning situations that can improve knowledge, increase skills, and shape attitudes that will advance a student’s business career. Members attended workshops titled: Find your Match, Fear of Public Speaking, Fear of Being an FBLA Officer and Fear of Failure.
