CAMILLA, GA – The GBI has announced that Terrence Wheeler, 26, of Moultrie, has been charged with the murder of his cousin Joe Williams, 76, of Baconton. Williams’ body was found by his niece on November 13 in his home. The Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office found Williams with a gunshot wound. The sheriff’s office requested the GBI assist with the investigation. Wheeler is being charged with one count of Felony Murder and one count of Aggravated Assault. He is being held in the Mitchell County Jail.
