In a case that could be ripped from a script of CSI or Law and Order, a 19-year old woman who was injured in a Friday shooting in Tift County has now been charged with felony murder. Jordan McAlister is charged in the Friday shooting death of 21-year old Christopher Sears.

Investigators say McAlister was ‘involved with a crime that led to (Sears’) death.’ Police say the pair were plotting to commit ‘some sort of crime’ before the shooting took place.

One man was also arrested in connection with an earlier shooting last Friday- 29-year-old LaCharles Miller was charged with aggravated assault in that case, which police say may be connected to Sears’ murder.

More arrests are expected in the murder case.
