As the Coronavirus is causing economical strain, many institutions are offering financial respite to those struggling to make credit card and mortgage payments. According to PR Newswire, 90% of those who have asked their financiers for a break have been given it.

The report further shows that 91% of both mortgage and credit card debtors have received financial amnesty in one form or another. This has been even more likely among young adults. However, the survey inspects that 18% didn’t know this option existed, and that women were twice as likely not to ask than men.
