ATLANTA, GA – Secretary of State Brian Kemp wants to remind Georgians that in person early voting begins today, Monday, June 30th. The early voting period will continue through Friday, July 18th.

The “My Voter Page” (MVP) app is a great free resource for voting information. Georgia voters can view their specific sample ballot, find their polling locations, check voter registration status and track the status of their absentee ballot. All of this information is available on mobile devices on Apple and Android platforms. To download the app search for “GA Votes” in the app store.

Kemp launched the MVP app on March 31st at a combined meeting of the Georgia Election Officials Association/Voter Registrars Association of Georgia in Augusta, GA with election leaders from across the state. It is believed that Georgia is the first state in the nation to offer both online registration as well as an innovative mobile application that enables voter registration like “MVP”.

Brian Kemp has been Secretary of State since January 2010. Among the office’s wide-ranging responsibilities, the Secretary of State is charged with conducting secure, accessible and fair elections, the registration of corporations, and the regulation of securities and professional license holders.
