A coalition of craft brewers in the Sunshine State are trying to petition legislators to allow the sale of 64-ounce ‘growlers.’ While craft brewers can sell an unlimited amount of gallon and quart-sized containers, the half-gallon size remains illegal.

Florida is just one of three states to deem the 64-ounce containers illegal. Bills have been filed in both chambers to legalize the large growlers, however, a lobbyist representing Anheuser-Busch distributors has successfully stalled them.
