Georgia Games, a state-wide athletics program for spring/summer sports, is encouraging its athletes and participants to continue training despite the outbreak of COVID-19. Their recent Facebook post reflects how convicted they are to upholding athletic prowess. Georgia Games says that this is an opportunity for athletes to “prove what [they] mean to do…”
Georgia Games has even suggested self-training if group practices or training was canceled. Georgia Games intends to continue with their event schedule, and they continue to motivate their athletes to do all they can to be there.
