It’s the final countdown before the St. Louis Cardinals face-off against the Atlanta Braves to determine who moves forward to the National League Championships. If you didn’t know that already, you’re not a baseball fan, you aren’t from South Georgia, or you’re not actually reading this article. Nonetheless, the question still reigns: Who will win?

Really, it depends on who you ask. ESPN finds that to be an unreasonable question. Both teams have preformed high quality with many “late-inning heroics”. However, when the question is insisted upon they speculate that the Braves home field advantage might just give them the edge.

On the other hand, others agree with CBS Sports and their experience-based outlook. They believe the Cardinals will come out on top because of their past of key moment performance.

St. Louis has won 11 World Series through the years, and has played in 47 postseason series in 29 years. Since 2009, the Cardinals have made the postseason six times.
