CORDELE – The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the shooting deaths of two men at a Quickmart Store.

At the request of the Cordele Police Department, GBI agents are investigating the deaths of Christopher King, age 27, of Cordele, GA, and Ben Foreman, age 53, of Cordele, GA.  

The investigation shows on Saturday March 23, 2024, the Cordele Police Department was dispatched to the Quickmart Convenience Store located on West 16th Avenue in response to gunshots. Cordele Police, along with Cordele EMS, Georgia State Patrol and the Crisp County Sheriffs Office responded to the scene. Once on the scene, officers found King and Foreman dead in the parking lot.
