ALPHARETTA, GA – Alpharetta police have taken an 18-year-old man into custody after allegedly stabbing three people, killing one.
Police received a domestic disturbance call in the early hours of Monday morning and responded to a home in Alpharetta. When officers arrived on the scene, they were met at the door by a man covered in blood. The man explained that he and other family members still in the house had been stabbed.
Police found two other stabbing victims inside the home. A woman, condition not released, and a man who was pronounced dead. The injured victims are now at a local hospital for treatment.
An 18-year-old suspect had fled the scene before police arrived, according to investigators. With the help of a K-9, police were able to locate the suspect approximately 100 yards behind the home. Police say he surrendered peacefully.
As the investigation is ongoing, it is not currently known what the relationship is between the suspect and the person he allegedly killed. However, police believe it’s possible that the victim was the suspects father.
