ATLANTA, Ga. — As most Americans saw their stimulus check, an unlucky few in Atlanta noticed that their checks had not been deposited in their accounts. Instead, their checks have somehow been deposited in the bank accounts of their tax preparers.

According to Fox 5, for the clients to see their stimulus checks must be reissued to the IRS. Unfortunately, according to the IRS funds have already been deposited into their accounts, which means the clients can’t update the IRS’s Economic Stimulus portal with up-to-date banking information.
