Georgia Senate approves cutting number of required school tests

According to the AJC, the Georgia state senate has passed Bill 367 that will reduce the number of required tests in Georgia public schools. Four high school tests and one 5th grade test will be eliminated.

Georgia currently requires 24 tests in public schools, seven more than mandated by the federal government.
