MACON, Ga. – U.S. Attorney’s Office announced that more than 150 animals have been rescued thanks to investigators from seven different counties, according to FOX5.

Many of the dogs are said to be malnourished and some may even require surgery. This is an on-going investigation. No arrests have been made yet for violations of the federal Animal Welfare Act and drug trafficking.
