MADISON CO., Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol will be shutting down Interstate 10 in Madison County from the 262-mile marker (Lee exit) to the 275-mile marker in Suwannee County due to zero visibility caused by dust from adjacent fields.
Eastbound interstate traffic will be detoured onto County Road 255 to US 90.
Westbound traffic will be entering Madison County on US 90. Expect heavy congestion and delays in the Lee community area.
Please use caution when traveling the highways and roadway.
Deputies are responding to multiple downed trees from the strong winds throughout the county.
