FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. – Three men are sitting in jail for plans to overthrow the United States government and murder a Bartow County Couple, according to WRGA.

The first arrest was made on Wednesday, 21-year-old Luke Austin Lane was arrested in his home and is being held at the Floyd County Jail. 25-year-old Michael John Helterbrand and 19-year-old Jacob Kaderli were arrested at different locations but are being housed in Floyd County Jail as well.

All three men are being charged with the conspiracy to commit murder and participation in the criminal gang known as “The Base.”

The Base is described as a white racially motivated violent extremist group that seeks to accelerate the downfall of the United States government, incite a race war, and establish a white ethno-state.

Luke Austin Lane was denied bond on Thursday.
