CAIRO, Ga. – Anna McBride pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide on Thursday for her role in April 2019 fatal wreck. According to WALB, 18-year-old McBride was driving 116 mph on a 55 mph road when her car crashed into the car of 18-year-old Levi Knop.
McBride was sentenced to 15 years, three of those years will be served in prison while the remaining 12 will be years on probation. During this probation period, McBride cannot leave or drive in the state of Georgia.
Grady County District Attorney Joe Mullholland says that neither party was under the influence and no drugs were found in their system.
