GA Deputy Caught Buying Narcotics During Investigation

BUTTS COUNTY, Ga. – A Monroe County Deputy was arrested for purchasing illegal drugs during a two-month long investigation, according to Fox5.

Deputy Paul “Nick” Stewart was arrested after agents received a tip that the deputy sheriff was purchasing illegal narcotics from the target of an active investigation. After executing a search warrant and separate investigation it was clear that the deputy has been purchasing the drugs.

All suspects, including Deputy Stewart, are currently at the Butts County Jail with no bond.
