TROUP COUNTY, Ga. – 26-year-old Dorathy Pike who is a contract nurse for Troup County Jail is facing a felony charge after admitting to having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a male inmate, according to WBTW.

Sgt. Stewart Smith told News13 that Sheriff James Woodruff received a tip alleging that a female contract nurse at the Troup County Jail was having an improper relationship with an inmate in the facility. After meeting with Pike, she admitted to the relationship being sexual and physical.

Pike has only been in her position at the jail for approximately six months, now she is being charged with Improper Sexual Contact by Employee or Agent.
