BAINBRIDGE, Ga. – On Thursday, November 7, 2019, D.A. Joe Mullholland said that Lawren Dnae Green and Bobby Edward Hand were charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault and cruelty to children in Decatur County Superior Court.

Green was the mother of the two children, one of which suffered a broken leg, and both had bruises all over their bodies.

The assaults reportedly occurred between December 2018 through March 2019, which included the dousing of one child with hot water and assaulting them with a deadly weapon.

Green was sentenced by Judge Kevin Chason to 20 years, two of which would be served in the Decatur County Jail, while Hand received a 40 year sentence to be served in prison.
