THOMAS Co. – A Thomas County man is in jail after allegedly setting fire to his own house.

William Stacey Stout has been charged with first degree arson after his home was severely damaged by a fire which reportedly had at least two points of origin: the kitchen stove and another area in which papers were lit on fire.
