THOMASVILLE (WCTV) – Police are investigating a bank robbery in northeast Thomasville.

According to police, officers responded to a robbery at Commercial Bank at 2704 East Pinetree Boulevard, around 11:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Police say a man entered the bank with a handgun, pointed it at the teller and demanded money.

The teller gave the suspect an unknown amount of money.

Police say the suspect was a 5’6″, 140 pound black male wearing a hoodie and dark shades with tape on his wrist. He may be in a white four-door Dodge pickup truck.
