MOULTRIE – Police in Moultrie are looking for a man who stole a rental car, crashed it and then used another car to get away.

Investigators with the Moultrie Police Department said a man driving a Jeep stolen from a home in the 600 block of 3rd Street rear-ended a woman in a sedan near the Packers Food Mart at West Bypass and Main Street.

The suspect who stole the Jeep then went inside the store, bought a drink, got in to a Dodge Durango and drove off. Three other men were inside the vehicle at the time.

Investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man who stole the Jeep, who was wearing a black shirt and khaki pants, and the three men who were in the Durango. One of the men was wearing a white tank top and shirts.
